The company BFLY Editions inc. was founded in February 2013 by Mr. Élie Couture and Mr. Stéphane Lavoie, both passionates of children's literature.
During the year of 2013, the new publishing house has essentially built its editorial team and delivered some first children's books with the Akinna & Niko collection.
BFLY Editions inc. wishes to specialize in children's literature, with picture books, comics and novels.
OUR MISSION IS TO INSPIRE CHILDREN TO ACHIEVE THEIR BIGGEST DREAMS BY OFFERING INSPIRING LITERARY WORK.
We want to distinguish ourselves with colorful and vivid, high-quality images, as well as magical texts that can bring inspiration to children and families.
In addition, we want to develop new reading concepts to encourage children to read more and help those with reading difficulties to improve at their own pace.
Finally, we wish to present new Quebec and Canadian authors, with books in French as in English.
OUR PHILOSOPHY IN EDITIONS BFLY IS BASED ON EFFECT BUTTERFLY POSITIVE.
Just as the belief that a single wing can cause a hurricane on the other side of the ocean, we believe that a small spark can change everything in the life of a child. We believe that inspirational books can help the child in achieving his biggest dreams.

CREATE A DREAM
Dreams cradle childhood. We have to show young people that no dream is prohibited. Despite obstacles, never give up. A dream is at the root of every great achievement.
BUILD CONFIDENCE
We must learn from an early age to be ourselves and that we create our own success. By having confidence in ourselves we transform each challenge into an opportunity.
ENCOURAGE ACTION
Action is the springboard to self-accomplishment of one’s desires. A good idea can only become a feat by action.
ENCOURAGE STAYING POSITIVE
Everything happens for a reason; we just have to learn how to draw positive lessons from it.
PERSEVERE
Never be afraid of falling, because it’s by falling that we learn how to get up again.
